In recent years, Andrew J. Lado has focused his legal practice on criminal prosecution, first in New Jersey and later in Colorado. However, we are excited to announce his return to the civil litigation arena.
Andrew began his legal career after graduating from Widener University Delaware Law School, serving as the Special Civil Part Law Clerk to the Honorable Judge James J. McGann, J.S.C. (Ret.) in Monmouth County Superior Court, New Jersey. During his clerkship, he honed his legal research and writing skills—foundational tools that propelled him into a successful career as an insurance defense attorney in New Jersey.
Following his work in insurance defense, Andrew went on to represent commercial transportation companies and their drivers in civil matters involving personal injury and property damage claims throughout New Jersey and New York.
Now, leveraging the courtroom strategies he sharpened as a prosecutor—along with his strong research and writing background—Andrew reenters civil litigation with renewed purpose. He will focus on representing clients in personal injury cases, bad faith insurance claims, and other civil matters. His transition from public service stems from a continued commitment to advocate for those who have been wronged and need effective legal representation.
